2013 was super fun to watch thanks to the elite/NFL caliber skill players. Also the most frustrating. QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs on that team all started in the NFL within 2 seasons. Also multiple linemen and defensive players.

That 2013 Ole Miss loss might be only surpassed by Troy. That team was stupid talented, Ole Miss was missing like 9 starters, and Mett proceeded to throw 4 INTs IIRC. Such a bad, bad loss.

2013 because there weren't great expectations, so not any huge letdown. We had the head scratcher game vs ole miss, but aside from that, at least we got to see a very exciting offense which was a nice change of pace.

Yeah, it's a bit surprising that 2013 team didn't have a bit higher expectations. Preseason #12 I believe, despite all of the 2012 offensive guys coming back. That defense really struggled though, so I guess the tempered expectations were warranted.
