what's to get excited about for this game?

is it because we're playing with house money? no one gives us a dog's chance in hell of winning. our defense has been improving all year and is as healthy and as deep as it can be for this season.
we are not going to just run into the middle time and time and time and time and time again.
I am enjoying the anticipation for this game more than I have in a long time. I hope the game is as good.

I am one of the more vocal O detractors around here, and I fear for the long term direction of the program. If forced to guess who will win tomorrow, I would have to say Bama. However, I'm pretty damn excited about the game, and I think we have a chance to win. Regardless, I hope to just see the team perform well.

Yes, it seems like LSU should be fired up & ready to play this game. Just do well on the offensive and defensive lines, and avoid turnovers, who knows what will happen?
I was just wondering why the point spread has not dropped. I thought usually the betting after it is first established would mean LSU would garner bets to beat the point spread, but doesn't it still remain at 21-21.5?

Redemption. After Troy that is what LSU is playing for.
That is what get's me excited about this game.
Sure, a potential SEC title might be on the line but the need for redemption is tantamount.

Seeing how bama has been such a curse for LSU the past 6-7 years, I can totally see us winning this game, winning the SEC west, and having Bama picked for the playoffs.
That would be a bigger gut punch than losing the game for 7 straight years.

9th time out of only 12, that LSU tees it up on Saturday night. I get excited for all 12.
