They're pretty good and won their conference tournament. LSU may not even get to play Oregon St this weekend.

Looks like they lack a scary starting pitcher, by the numbers anyway. Only one of their frequently used arms (a reliever with 18 appearances) even averages a strikeout per inning.

Looks like they've played 3 top 50 RPI teams this year (Arkansas and Arizona x2) with a 1-2 record against them.
They lost to Arkansas 5-2, beat Arizona 3-2 in extras and lost to Arizona 13-4. All three of these games were late February/early March, so that doesn't really tell us much.
They've also lost to some bad teams. They are only 26-13 against 100+ RPI teams.
