What’s the latest on the final snap football?

I know Burrow left with it, and there was a Bloomberg article that LSU wanted it. That was several days ago. Haven’t heard anything since.
I figure most of the LSU staff would let Joe keep it. I’m sure Coach O would push to let Joe keep it.

LSU can get one of the other many game balls and put it in the trophy case. They don’t have to have the one that was used for the final snap.
Who is gonna argue with LSU that it isn’t a game ball that they have on display?

Chase had a game ball during some post game interviews that he was very reluctant to surrender in exchange for holding a microphone.

Joe threw his to someone before being interviewed and you could see he was being very specific to whoever he was giving it too. Lol. Dont figure it was Chase though.

Last it was seen was on sec Nation. When ja'marr chase told the crew "joe isn't getting this ball back"
But I have no idea what ended up happening once everyone went back to the locker room.
The police probably confiscated it, because it wasn't allowed in the locker room.

I’m sure he could work out a way to get it out of the stadium if he really tried. Hell, he could give it to Coach O and he could get it out.
