McManus is too valuable in the lineup to be removed unless it’s as a late inning defensive replacement.

Gotta agree with this. Now is not the time to start messing with McManus's head by playing Malazzo. Late inning defense should be it. McManus is improving defensively - he no longer drops balls that are in the strike zone - and his bat has been very good as of late.

If McManus, Thompson, Pearson, and Jobert stay hot, and we get normal production out of Crews, Berry, Doughty, Morgan, and Dugas, we are going to be tough to handle.

If I was a key cog and needing more treatment to get back right, I would have something going on 247

Wow. You doubled down on stupid.

So in your mind, in order to considered injured, a player must:

A - show physical signs of being in pain 24/7.

B - get treatment for the injury around the clock

Milazzo can rest for the rest of the year. McManus is doing just fine

You say this until he misses a fastball in tie game with a runner on 2nd.

His hitting has improved though.

You think that’s precautionary to get them healthy? Or do you think Berry had a set back?

I think Berry getting hit on his other hand and coming out of the game probably has them wanting to be extra careful. Him being healthy in the postseason is more important than us securing a host spot IMO. I doubt we see him or Doughty in the SECT

Millazo played last week, so while I don't know how healthy he is, I wouldn't say he's done for the year.

His knee was sore after the one inning he caught, and as well as McManus is hitting the ball, I would be shocked if we see Milazzo play anymore this season.

Milazzo has a broken batting average.

Dugas can play 3rd or 2nd as well as OF. No way you're keeping him out of the lineup when healthy.

When was the last time we saw Dugas play an IF position?
