What's the injury status on Doughty, Berry, and Millazo?

I was surprised to see Berry completely out of the line up. I assumed Doughty would be out and I assume Millazo is done for the year.

Anyone have any updates on Berry, Doughty, or Millazo? Hoping to have everyone healthy for an Omaha run.

I doubt we see Doughty or Berry until next weekend.

They all just had a week worth of rest, so I’d be willing to bet Berry plays tonight and probably Doughty too. No clue about Milazzo. McManus has gotten into a nice lil groove, so I doubt they’re hurrying him back until he’s 100% healthy.

You think that’s precautionary to get them healthy? Or do you think Berry had a set back? Just found it odd that we’ve seen Berry DHing and hitting well, then being out of the line up.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Berry or Doughty come in to pinch hit. Millazo played last week, so while I don't know how healthy he is, I wouldn't say he's done for the year.

McManus is too valuable in the lineup to be removed unless it’s as a late inning defensive replacement.

Because he was hit in the other hand last week vs. Vandy.

He was just standing there at the rail all game, but it didn’t look like he was in too much pain last night. The finger was still taped, though.

Doughty looked the same.

So, in your mind, a player must be showing signs of being in physical pain constantly for them to be injured?

If I was a key cog and needing more treatment to get back right, I would have something going on 247.

If there was any doubt that LSU was hosting before last night they solidified it so really there is no reason to force it. If they are healthy then absolutely play them but if there is any doubt then I would just go ahead and sit them another game.

Tonight's game probably doesn't really matter. We likely get an RPI boost whether we win or lose since we're playing Tenn and it's not an elimination game. If Jay feels like he hasn't locked down a host spot then maybe we see Doughty or Berry play the elimination game if we lose to Tenn. Otherwise I doubt they play this weekend.

If Milazzo is healthy then we will probably use him. Need to work him back in before regionals and McManus can't catch every game this weekend anyway

Milazzo can rest for the rest of the year. McManus is doing just fine

I'm not going to say that Berry and Doughty should play, if they aren't ready to go, but I don't think there is any reason to feel like we've clinched a regional host. It could be that we have, but there is too much competition around LSU to just assume we have it sealed. I think LSU needs to win another game, even if it isn't tonight. Just win one more, along with the RPI boost of playing Tennessee, and that should do it.

I would really like to see LSU play well tonight, though. This is an opportunity to see where this team really stands. If they lose, it's not a huge deal, but if they lay an egg, in the middle of being on a hot streak, that wouldn't bode well for this team's confidence. A win would be sweet.

Prolly holding them out for precautionary reasons but it would be nice if they were healthy enough to play tonight against Tennessee.

This is the answer. It would be ideal to get one more win this weekend which I believe we are fully capable of with the lineup last night. Give the injured guys maximum rest for the Regionals.
