He also can't out run the average nursing home resident

Wtf the dude is pretty decent at moving the pocket and has had some decent runs. You can criticize him on other things but this ain’t it. You do realize we are talking about Brennan and not Danny f’n Etling right?

He certainly has shown to be VERY average and moving the pocket and below average at running. That said my biggest problem with Myles is he is still average at getting the ball out of his hands timely and to the right target. With all the time he has had to learn he should be able to pick targets MUCH quicker.

He isn’t just below average at moving in the pocket, he’s atrocious. You can 100% critics him on this. He’s atrocious at stepping up in the pocket his mobility is maybe a 2/10

Well I guess if enough people say it. It must be true. I prefer to look at the actually film and you can see you are very wrong. I’m not saying he should be the starter but if you are going to criticize the man at least criticize him about the right things like a tendency to throw behind receivers or over their head especially on the move. Though he improved over the years in that area too.

Is this some sort of a joke? The first 28 minutes of this video are mop up duty in garbage time

Where the 3rd down conversions were terrible, you can't put all the blame on him. They were in 3rd and longs alot and it isn't exactly easy to convert in those situations. Plus, Linehan was atrocious in his play calling, which enhanced the problems. The line sucked too and they couldn't run the ball, they were lucky to be as successful as they were being one dimensional.

I don't care who starts or solidifies themselves as QB #1.

Just win baby.

The title of the video is “Myles Brennan All Career Plays 2017-2020.” Not sure what you expected?

Our Defense was atrocious that year.

So was our OL and Jamar called out due due to COVID and, if memory serves Terrace was hurt. Yet he still averaged 370/3.6/1 before getting hurt after being totally pummeled during those first 3 games. Imagine what he could do with these WRs, this OL, and a much stronger coaching staff

No one will ever forget or forgive Brennan for the flip flop fiasco.

And TBH, him throwing for 345 yards on 46 attempts with two picks wasn't exactly a great outing against State. In the first half of that game, he was objectively bad, and he had 9 total drives in the game that resulted in zero first downs or an interception out of 15 total possessions

I was at that game. There were WRs running open all over the field vs state. There were some short throws that would have been touchdowns with burrow with the appropriate read that was downfield

I also happen to be in the boat that our play calling was absolutely atrocious in those games. Against Missouri specifically, they knew exactly which plays E was calling on that final series on the goal line. I’m not sure we score on many teams in FBS being that predictable. Myles is lethal given time. That’s just true; his arm is unbelievable. That being said, I really don’t concern myself with it much. BK, Denbrock, and Sloan will pick the guy they believe will work best. It’s not a situation where I’m trying to find out which jersey I need to buy. All three guys are working hard, and the best will win. That’s all there is to it.

Now do Nussmeier's stats.

Are First game stats indicative of a QBs future?
See Finley
Also look up Peyton Manning's first start with UT.

I watched Archie Manning play as a true freshman vs LSU's Freshmen.
LSU won about 40-7. I don't remember the exact score.
Every LSU Fan of that era remembers Archie improved in his Soph and Junior.

Realistically do any of you see him having 400 yard 4 TDS games?
'

If our defense is as bad as the 20 team, and we play teams with defenses as bad as the teams Brennan played, then it very possible.

If a WR is open, Nuss will hit him. See Spring game.
So far he just takes unnecessary chances.

Except Myles misses a lot of throws and isn't good enough to be the starting qb at LSU

So what’s he doing on the roster, guy? If Kelly can’t tell that he’s this inept, why are we paying him $10M a year? I get that you have an agenda, but shite talking our guys is weak. All of our QBs can start for us and do well. Get over your personal bias, and let people discuss their own opinions without you throwing out generic opinions as fact.
