Coincidentally, I am flying to Philadelphia tomorrow and will be in the area all week. If I can, I'd like to go to the game thursday. Anyone with experience getting tickets for stuff like this, advice is appreciated.

Show up, there are always tickets to be had for the early rounds.

Find someone with a high TAF ranking who isn't going and ask them to put in for tickets for you

Walk up. Might still be some for sale at the window. First round games always have seats. However, even if sold out the fact you are a single makes it very easy to get a seat. Figure out area you want to sit, go to gate into that area and hold up one finger. I often get tickets for free from people going in that have an extra because they don't want the hassle of trying to sell it. Don't pay more than face if you do buy.

Also, once you are in pay attention to where open seats are closer. After 1st half just move down to that open seat like you own it.
