What’s next for Mikhail Hilliard and Devon Fontenot?

Doesn’t look like with was drafted. Still cheering for these two guys who fought as hard as anyone for the Tigers.

I really thought Hilliard would get drafted. We would have had a losing record without him.
Fontenot was just too inconsistent - we all wanted to see him get back to FSU 2019 form.

As much as I love him as a tiger, he just doesn’t have the velocity to be a major league pitcher. The hitters are too good.

Mikhail will probably work for Traction and chase after white women and Devon Fotenot will probably chase the dream for a couple years and then end up being a HS baseball coach

Looking at Fontenot’s career this game was the outlier. He was always decent but that one game he was great.

I remember watching that game and not being on here in the game thread. The announcers were just talking while he was striking out batter after batter like nothing great was happening. I wish I would have been in the game thread so I could have gotten an opinion on what was happening.
It was almost like I was wondering if it was a big deal or not because the announcers were acting so unimpressed

Hilliard gave an interview during the postseason and he sounded like he wasn’t expecting to be drafted, and he sounded pretty content with that. He mentioned wanting to work to bring baseball to underprivileged youth who otherwise would never play (I’m assuming he meant in North BR). Whatever he and Devin decide to do I’m sure they’ll be great at it

This is what having no leverage gets you. A lot of seniors go undrafted and sign UDFA deals.

Well I still bet he doesn’t regret sticking around. Also hopefully having his LSU family around helped him through the awful loss of his dad.
Like I said hope he can catch on somewhere.

Hilliard yes. Fontenot can touch mid 90,s. Shocked if someone doesn’t sign him.
