I’ll be the alumni representative. I’ve got a bunch of ideas for change.

I'm amazed at the amount of people who dont think its an issue that the LSU alumni have absolutely no say in who runs the school.

There are alumni and a student Represenative on the BOS.

I know what you’re talking about. And there’s not a need for it because Alumni have a majority representation on the Board and the Student body of the LSU System is represented as well.

The current Alumni have absolutely no say in who gets appointed to these positions... that is a PROBLEM.

I would imagine has influence as much as any other group.

They might have more if it were more of a relevant group to begin with.

From what I can tell it isn't well organized and it doesn't raise much in donations and like it or not that is a big deal.

Golfer. The question he raises is legit. The current way they are serving the governor and not the alumni. Just cause you went there doesn’t mean yo are gonna do the right thinking as opposed to kissing arse to the governor to get reappointed.

Being an LSU alum should be a requirement.

Only in Louisiana is this the mindset.

LSU is there for the entire state, it's not there just for the Alimni.

If you think the Alumni should play a larger role, I understand; however, the Alumni Association needs to be energized and it needs better leadership first.

But the Louisiana's flagship university should not be parochial in that you have to be one of us to have input.

But we all know that the governor is going to put his people on this and other boards. That's the way it works.
