What were some of Alleva's major screwups prior to F. King?

Thank. God. I'm excited as hell that Alleva is reportedly gonna leave. I was talking to an LSU buddy at work about how F.King and Alleva were collectively one of the absolute worst Pres./AD pairings LSU has had in living memory. My buddy asked about the 4 year window Alleva had with Mike Martin and William Jenkins as LSU chancellors/presidents. All I could come up with were the Trent Johnson and Fargas hires. Were there any major f-ups Alleva made from 09 to 12 I'm not remembering?

How LSU handled the Les Miles situation and coaching search was a major debacle. Got bent over during the Florida game ordeal.
Managed to turn the softball hire into drama
Has killed game day atmosphere at LSU football games

Yep. The Les Miles buyout was awful.
He gives Miles an extension and a rather large buyout. Then begins the process of firing him just one season later by introducing the Les Miles clause in John Chavis' contract.
