What we did not see at the Spring game - According to O and Burrow:

1) The extreme up-tempo
2) The RPO - except for a couple random plays
3) The RPO triple-option (not the Ga Tech type, but Burrow having the QB run-option added to the RPO scheme) [this according to DJ Mangus - before he was hired]
4) The run game - O said he showed very little of the RG at the Spring game.
5) The Freshman studs - 2 big-time RBs and 2 big-time WRs
6) Shifts and motion to draw out D schemes

AND, did not see:
7) Joe Burrow at 100% - O said Burrow still has some rehab to get through on the recent left shoulder surgery - should be 100% by the Summer

And we did see 4-wide and 5-wide play after play - when is the last time LSU showed that? Never (on the 5-wide), maybe?

The run game was noticeably absent.

It makes sense if you aren’t going to do a lot of RPOs in the scrimmage. A lot of carries will come from that.

We were still pretty up tempo at times. From what I watched We looked pretty good.

Loves seeing the RBs in the passing game.

I also hope Anderson and Pettigrew play more.

Anderson shines pretty much every chance he gets. We need to get him more chances. Maybe some of Sullivan’s crossing routes. I like Sullivan but his strengths seem to be going up and getting the ball. When he’s running cross and slants and the balls on his body is when he seems to be dropping it more.

I did enjoy seeing some of the new route combinations in the short and intermediate passing game. I did like that we did utilize the whole field as well.

Looking forward to seeing what it looks like in the fall. Anxious to see what Burrow can do with the implementation of the RPO plays.

I saw Badara Traore got banged up on a play. Any word on him?

this is huge actually. We were talking about how the offense will probably look like a mix of what we saw and the A&M game where he ran 59 times. Which I like and Joe will thrive in.

Helaire spread out wide was nice to see as well. Nice little out route for a quick 3-5 yd gain.

Wrong, Coater. First play was a 4-wide set. Guice stayed in the backfield.

I believe this is because Sullivan doesn’t enjoy the contact aspect of football. Those drops in the spring game were likely him focusing more on preparing to get hit. Because of this, the experiment of using him as a tight end fizzled out quickly.

However, this dude has made some important catches; thinking about @ Auburn last year.

Seems that Joe Brady is going to use CEH like they use Kamara in the saints offense. Which I’m all for. He looked great out in the open

That’s great that they’re practicing all this stuff. Let’s see if it’s called.

I'm sure the plan is to practice a new offense until week one, then surprise the opponent with the old one.

You joke, but that honestly was the MO under miles. We are jaded as hell and most people, including myself, will respond with snarky and sarcastic remarks until we actually see it during the season from week one

What we did get to see was one of your usual garbage posts. Changing screen names did nothing to improve the quality of your posts Derek.

I don't think Miles hid his love for the ground and pound.
