He just wanted to get the message out that we need football. After his Trump comments, players and their families didn’t like it and wanted coach O to speak up more about the Floyd situation then what he did.

Is there anything you retards won't blame on Trump? This is the dumbest take I've ever heard. Remind me again how much you cared about politics at 19 years old

Stoke his ego, and he’s just dumb enough to go on and say what Fox wanted. He should have only said “Thank you Mr President” and left it at that. No Fox, no 60 Minutes, none of that shite. No college football coaches do that except Ed O.

As frustrated as I am about the situation we are in, there is part of me that wants orgeron to keep his job because nothing about his appearance on Fox News should ultimately result in him getting fired...

I wonder how many players would quit if he was on CNN thanking a democrat for being a good host.

Ask Mike Gundy what he thinks.

And he only went fishing.

Of course not all of it. But I think it did a lot of damage and there was no sufficient reconciliation until after O got publicly humiliated after the march. I'm sure to the players that felt like covering his arse as opposed to anything genuine.

Going on Fox News was dumb, endorsing JBE was dumb.

All of that shite was dumb. O tried to take a victory lap this past offseason and he ran off a cliff.

It's not all about it, but it definitely had a negative impact. Anyone who won't acknowledge that is just burying their head in the sand. Intelligent people avoid going public with their politics. It's doubly stupid when your job depends on fairly fickle people who disagree with those thoughts

Sounds like LSU needs to get rid of a lot of players if they're that shitty.

Think whatever you want about it, it's just a fact that millions of people, the majority young, marched and protested after George Floyd. It has never been more apparent that younger people follow politics. Not to mention the players literally said they were upset about the whole thing

Yeah but having half your team quit and losing to mizzou should result in change. Life isn't always fair and you have to live with the consequences of your actions.

In the end it shouldn't matter who he supports it has nothing to do with college football.
