Mine was probably 1997 LSU versus Florida when they were number one. We had tickets and we were at the stadium and we thought LSU was going to get their asses kicked and we sold the tickets for less than we paid for them and went to watch the game at Ivars.

An acquaintance had me setup to get in free but about an hour before game time I hadn’t heard anything from the person at the gate. I didn’t wanna miss kickoff so I just left thinking the plan had fallen through. Got a call 20 minutes before game time from the gate person.

1982 Orange Bowl, where we lost 21-20 to Nebraska.

Don’t know the opponent, but we were in Louisiana visiting family on a rare occasion during LSU football season. I was 8 at the time. My dad got tickets but I decided not to go so I could hang out with my cousins. Doesn’t make sense now, but made sense in my 8 year old brain. Guess I assumed we would have plenty of opportunities to go to game together. Ended up being the only opportunity I would have to go to a game with my dad. He would pass away a few years later.....first game in Tiger Stadium would be with my grandfather in 1990...Alabama vs LSU

ETA — never missed a game I had tickets for after that.

2010 was a good one but 2012 Bama might be the greatest tiger stadium atmosphere ever

Same game. Didn't even sell my student ticket. We went to a toga party off Brightside because it was a sure loss. Saw our friends storm the field from a 20" TV in a shitty living room 1 mile from TS.

2007 national championship game. Played football the day before the game with a bunch of old high school teammates and tore my ACL. So had to watch the game from my couch with a huge brace on.

97 Florida for me, too. I was a freshman in high school. We had tickets, but I was punished.

After the game, My Dad apologized to me for not letting me go!

Not LSU but was invited to travel to Augusta via private jet, and stay in a rented home by the course. We were to leave on Tuesday, return Sunday night. On Sunday i began signs of sinus infection, on Monday diagnosed with the flu. I had to give up my spot. The year was 1986, the last Masters victory for Niklaus. I was on the couch at home watching one of the greatest moments in golf history, and I could of been there.

Hey, at least we got drunk watching it. But I thought it was The Station we went to.

Was offered sideline passes to 2001 SEC Chmpionship Game. Months prior, had agreed to host a party at my house that Saturday. Was newly married, told wife I would stay and help host the party.

I won tickets through the student lottery for the 2003 SEC championship but then had to give them up because of a death in the family.

I also had tickets for the 2009 game in Georgia but started a new job that week so couldn’t make the trip.
