What separates Coach Orgeron from the pack

Everyone has been amazed at the transformation of Coach Orgeron, and I’d like to let you know some things that I’ve noticed that really separates Coach Orgeron from the rest of the coaching pack.
1) MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL.... The man simply does not have to feed an ego
This is a critical part of his character that all of the following points below hinge upon
2) He has brought in some of the best analysts to surround himself with who are serving as mentors to him as he listens, and he absorbs every bit of their knowledge and observations. The man is CONSTANTLY learning, and not too proud to do so either, which is enormously to his credit.
3) He, without a second thought, sought to transform LSU, and in doing so, went to where they know a thing or two about productive offenses, and found what he was looking for. He didn’t give it lip service, or hesitate and say it was going to be some long arduous process to do so, he simply loaded the gun and pulled the trigger.
4) Constant deflection of credit to the Team and Coaches is something that’s proven to be infectious to the rest of the team, which in turn makes the team an unselfish single unit of talent that has one desire and one desire only, and that’s to WIN, and whatever it takes to get to that point is what it is going to take, and they do it.
5) He puts it all together, and then he does something that every GREAT Leader in ANY field in life does which inspires excellence and success. He trusts his decisions and people, and let’s them do their job. He does not micromanage, or put his fingers in the ointment. He trusts who he’s put in positions and lets them do it. That may seam like a small thing to some who don’t know, but it’s usually quite rare to find leaders who do that, but when you do, they are the absolute best leaders in life, and people whom everyone wants to work for.
Want to be a success in life? Let other people shine, and you don’t have to worry about people giving you credit. They will. People like myself will point it out for you.

He can beat the shite out of any coach on the opposite sideline.

I think first is his true love for LSU and it's not all about money for him. He just wanted a chance to rebuild a program that needed direction.

This is his dream job, it’s easier to sell a program when your heart and passion is actually behind it. This dude lives for this this program.

He saved his job by hiring Joe Brady. The end.

You don’t think ensminger has anything to do with the offensive success?

When Brady is gone, he'll hire another competent young go-getter.

To me, this is the essence of it. ONE TEAM, ONE HEARTBEAT . Coach O embodies humility to me. He expects and exudes greatness because he humbles himself and gets in the trenches with these young men. When you come from a place of people doubting you, downtalking you, insulting you, and don’t resolve yourself to whining about why you aren’t that but simply bear down and prove them wrong, time after time...that says something
Think of this...we have a QB who won the Heisman who Ohio State didn’t Think was good enough. We have a RB who they said was too small breaking records. 2 and 3 stars breaking records.
And it all stems back to “if they tell you you aren’t good enough, prove them wrong.”
I would run through a wall for Coach O. He isn’t haughty, seeks out those that can improve the team, and doesn’t get caught up in the jibjab.
I am proud to call Ed Orgeron my coach and proud as hell of every man on this team.

Coach O also went out and got us some damn good players. The man recruits his arse off. The talent on this team is elite.
I think we have double digit first round picks from this roster when all is said and done.
Joe Burrow, K. Fulton, Grant delpit, J. Chase, and Derek stingley are locks.
Then you have guys like chaisson and Justin Jefferson getting 1st round buzz.
Terrace Marshall and Marcel Brooks are first round caliber althetes.
Clyde won’t go first round but he’s gonna get picked in the first 3 rounds.
Then you have some guys who could be right there in a couple seasons: Mo Hampton and John Emery come to mind.
Maybe flott, Ward, or Jones develop down the road in the secondary.
And then you have dudes like Shelvin, Stephens, and Rashard Lawrence.
This team is stacked and coach O deserves credit.

You just defined leadership.

Amazing things can happen if no one cares who gets the credit.
Sadly, that’s almost never the case.

O vs Muschamp would be a classic. I remember Scott Frost as a player and I bet he's tough. I'd take O against either though.

Brady's hiring launched this offensive storm but his seat wasn't even slightly warm. He did a fine job last year.

I don't believe he's transformed at all. He's just being himself and doing what he knew and planned all along. Transformation is in the fans that displayed hate for this man from the start.

Agree with everything you say about Eaux. A big test coming Monday night, and a bigger test coming next year without JB9. If we make it to th CFP without Burrow, we can start building the statue.
Love where Coach has led us to this year. Still rubbing my eyes from earlier in the year. Couldn’t believe I was watch an LSU offense!!!

Muschamp, with his Church Lady bifocals and saggy pancake tittays?

Come on man, there was work to do when he took over. Les did not leave the program with the men needed in the trenches to compete with the Bama's.
They also seem to play and show more passion and heart for the game with O.
