He didn't choose a box full of bills. He just happened to be in debt up to his eyeware.

I wish his career could've had a longer success trajectory. He is great out of the backfield and good blocking.

He is 28 and has been healthy in his career. I would've envisioned him having a longer career at a high level.

I think some of it is that he doesn't go east and west well. That has always been how you beat LF, get him going east west. He isn't great at breaking tackles. But man you get him going north south and get him a hole....look out. I like LF though and he was fun to watch when he got going.

So the man himself says he felt the Bills were his best opportunity, but you come to a message board for an explanation.

He's made about $15million or so.

Closer to $38 million. He got almost $18 million as a signing bonus before he even stepped on a professional football field.

Great interview. Suggest others watch it. 4 minutes. LF7 has matured a great deal.

the shelf life for a RB is short, especially for one like Fournette who takes a lot of contact and delivers blows.

How much does the guy have left? He's old in RB years and he's not a regular as of now.

Right. Old in years not in mileage. He should still have some left in the tank even though he is old for a RB

Fournette was just cut. His time in Buffalo is done for now at least.

LF had a lot of mileage in high school and then in college with Les.

He really could have been used a bit less considering we also had guice at the time

LF7 wasn’t on a roster. Buffalo offered him a spot, albeit a practice roster spot.
Practice roster pays the bills for his tire and rim shop in Slidell, so he can keep taking care of his homeboys and family.
He’s doing what most baws here do everyday, making ends meet however you can.

This is why RBs have to grab that bag. Even the greats have such a short NFL lifespan.
