The mistake he makes is that he's assuming that the voices calling for Les Miles' head are the same voices that have been calling for his head for years. Those people are still calling for his head, yes... BUT...
The difference now is that many people who haven't been calling for his head suddenly are. And the Wisconsin game was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Instead of asking the question, "Why are some Tiger fans eternally miserable with their team?" he should be asking "Why is it different this time? Why have so many jumped ship so suddenly?"
That's the real story here. Before it was "maybe Les can turn it around" now it's "we don't care if he turns it around."
The LSU fan base as a whole is demanding change. That's the story.

do you even read the attacks? it's not attacking for the sake of attacking it's the juvenile nature of the posters that demean, slur and otherwise embarrass LSU and their fans. and probably their families as well.
criticism is fine and in MANY instances deserving but as it is now someone is calling Miles a moron for every little thing that happens, on and off the field. he talks funny, he dresses bad, he has weird expressions, etc, etc, etc.
EVERYTHING IS LES MILES FAULT. except good plays, they were done in spite of him.

Exactly. In years past, there was a sizeable contingent of Les backers. After Wisconsin, I haven't met anyone, outside of internet trolls, who want to keep miles and his ridiculous brand of football.

Didn't read, but there are a lot of LSU fans to whom football comes second.

They weren't. They are the crybaby snowflakes who aren't getting their way.
I was looking for something like "it's probably time for Les Miles to go, but..."
But they never said it. Which means they don't believe it's time for Les to go, and they'd rather have him coaching us to a sub-Arky level every year than to try to do better, and cry about the rest of us not enjoying it.
