Bama, Aubie, and us would have 1 sec loss.

Assuming Auburn still loses to Clemson, and we still lose to bama...bama would go?

Or bama, then we'd be undefeated

Probably lose @ UF then; but we were blown out by State, not close? How could you what if for that one?

Auburn would win the tiebreaker due to their sec east opponents record

Thank you for an actual answer. Getting crucified for asking a question while watching an LSU-less sec championship once again.

Pretty sure it goes to whoever is the highest ranked team. Which probably would have been Auburn having just won over Alabama.

Forget about State and Troy. LSU had a chance to be relevant in Tuscaloosa and failed.

every single year only a game or two makes a big difference in stature at the end of the year. We lost both of those games fair and square, so where we land is pretty valid, IMO.

but would they have been? Based on OP, Auburn remains a 2 loss team, and LSU would be a 1 loss team with a win over them. Seems to me Auburn would have been behind us at that point, and we would have likely moved past Bama with the Iron Bowl result. Clemson loss would have done in Auburn in this scenario.

Does point differential play into this, or is ranking the tiebreaker?

What if we lost every game? What would happen then? (Other than creating more what-if threads)
