He was never committed to LSU.

Do you know how many times we have heard about a qb at LSU that's hasn't taken a snap yet is going to light it up and be the one? It's the same story year after year.

If Shea is here, Les is still here because Shea can play qb well. Means no Canada. Scenario wouldnt have happened

I don't think so, remember Harris and Etling would have been ahead of Patterson a freshman. Miles likes to stick with his veteran QB's and it would have played out just like it did last year. But with Harris now gone the QB battle would have been between Etling and Patterson in this new regime of coaching, and Patterson easily wins that battle.

If Jackson and Lafitte would of surrendered we would all be talking British

Trust me. You want nothing to do with the Patterson family in your college fb program. Les' staff found this out after hiring the brother. OM under Freeze is the perfect place for that family. It's no coincidence that Shea ended up at a school that ended up being found out as cheaters.

It would've have been great but I think etling will make smart throws

Kid also bolted to IMG before his senior year at Calvary. He was already a top prospect. I'm sure a little under handed stuff took place there. No need for him or anyone associated with him!

Jesus, learn some history. The Battle of New Orleans was fought AFTER the peace treaty was ALREADY SIGNED. They just didn't know about it!

Once the NCAA brings the hammer down, you'll never hear of him or Ole Miss....yes, a waste
Shea goes high 1st round in 2 years regardless

This is exactly what I was thinking. He hurt his potential draft stock going with ole miss basically to secure his brother a job. In the scheme of things.... terrible financial decision
Freezes pass happy offense is more qb friendly. 1st round in 2 years.

Patterson never committed here. Do your research.

When Shea was a senior at Calvary, I watched the game between Calvary and Byrd. Byrd had an aggressive, swarming defense and made Shea look totally inept. I don't remember the final score, but it wasn't even close.
I know Shea is highly rated, however as in all cases, a strong defense can nullify a QB's effectiveness. I don't see him as a savior for LSU football, had he signed with us.

Imagine if Saban would have stayed... imagine if anything else other than reality happens!
