And led the cowboys to their biggest upset win in program history while getting his dad canned at the same time. Crazy to think about.

I thought about this today. I have a good relationship with my dad and if I had to choose between winning and getting my dad fired or losing and buying him another season, I'd choose the latter. I'd feel like shite if I had an incredible game and got my dad fired.

I hate that I think this. But I feel that if Cody were to beat LSU in sound fashion... O would meet him at the nearest Sonic.

I'm more concerned about their DE Isaiah Chambers with both starting tackles out. He's a former 4* that led UH in sacks before he transferred and led the Southland conference in sacks during spring. I'm not sure why he transferred but it wasn't a case of not being good enough. I don't like the thought of a true freshman (Dellinger) going against a 5th year DE that will probably be drafted

It’s not going to happen but it is an interesting scenario because it would be one of the biggest moments in his sons life but also seal the deal on getting fired whether it’s now or a year from now.

I think given the buy out he’s sitting over all he’d be happy with the situation

In no way am I saying for sure this is what is going on....but imagine always wanting to play in Tiger Stadium your whole life and you and your dad find yourself in this situation. Got money in the bank, may speed up the process of shite canning Ed, but you have an experience that can never be taken away. Time fades anger from fans, and years from now when O's grandchildren are sitting around with him, he'll still have greatest season and dad/uncle will have a story from an epic night.

Again, I think both Os will give it their all and LSU wins, but it could happen.

Even if your dad was already a millionaire, and his parting gift is a $21MM lump sum? I'd bury his old arse and start my own legacy. He can always give his dad a DL coaching gig.

We should’ve kept the 3-4 defense ever since we went to 4-3 our defense hasn’t been the same

That's a good point. My dad is not worth that much

When you put it like that it's almost like I'd be doing him a favor.

Some people on this board actually think McNeese has a chance in hell at winning this game.... You guys need to come off the ledge, seriously.

But yes, it's crazy to think about Cody getting his dad fired.

What if it's the other way around and O threw game like Mike Bianco threw fastballs at Drew?

If Cody leads Mcneese to a win, will coach O show up at his fishing camp?
