LSU is returning a total of 61 carries for 357 yards by running backs. This isn't star ratings, it's on field production.

I can make the judgment that the hiring of Canada by Coach O was his 1st major decision and it turned out to be a cluster frick.
I can make the judgment that the hiring of a OC who hadn’t been hired by any school in 20 years to manage an offense is highly questionable.
The most important judgment I can make is that LSU football, at this point in time, isn’t any better than it was almost two years ago when Coach O started calling the on field decisions for LSU.
I can make the judgment that the hiring of Canada by Coach O was his 1st major decision and it turned out to be a cluster frick.

1) he has not hired a proven OC
2) he has not recruited at an elite level
3) he has not instilled confidence in the QBs corps (our Achilles heel for the past decade)
4) he has not improved LSUs win percentage over the previous staff

Again O got the number one target for QB and he did it perfectly. Vegas had us 7 and 5 before Burrow. Pretty sure none of you haters had LSU winning 6 SEC games last year or 9 overall. We have a much better team going into 2018 than we did at this time last year. If Canada does not act like an insubordinate jerk we beat Troy and ND.

IF he lands Stingley, I will say the same things I've been saying. It's great for now and let's hope he signs in December. Until then though, it's still kind of up in the air. It's not as if other coaches are going to stop recruiting him.
LSU had as much or more talent than every team it faced last year except one. So, the talent is the first step. Let's see what happens in the fall before we start saying I told you so when it comes to pumping your chest about Coach O.
