the more I really listen to O after understanding what he is saying I love it. He is sold on LSU and being home and I get that 100%. That being said we will never have another home boy coaching and I love that. There is no one on the planet that I want to coach LSU and beat Nick!

I can't say I know anything and I say that knowing you guys will paste that (I can't say I know anything) and run with it. What I am really saying is that I am pulling for this Louisiana man to be a winner at LSU. It goes against the odds - I don't care!

Good god almighty.

Please tell me you didn't get a degree from LSU

how do you know no one wanted the OC job ?

This is actually a valid question. We don't know because O didn't conduct a search. He just went with the guy he was comfortable with. I guess he gets it honest though. His boss did the same thing. It's becoming the LSU way.

[b]the more I really listen to O after understanding what he is saying I love it.

that means I have a hard time understanding what he is saying

He is sold on LSU and being home and I get that 100%.

you got it

There is no one on the planet that I want to coach LSU and beat Nick!

you can get that

I can't say I know anything and I say that knowing you guys will paste that (I can't say I know anything) and run with it.

means I know as I type this you are going to give me a hard time about it

What I am really saying is that I am pulling for this Louisiana man to be a winner at LSU. It goes against the odds - I don't care!

you can get this

sorry about my ramblings - I can do better even if I didn't go to Catholic High or LSU. I did married up - she went to St.Joe and LSU. She married me for my money not my smarts!

done with all this

going to the beach again and I am not posting from Florida

I am excited about watching some football and not excited about 2 months of posting about football. That being said I will give the site back to the smart folks. Enjoy your summer and all you guys are on my A list because you take the time to post from your heart about LSU football.

I do hope CEO wins this year and puts us at 3-0 to start things off. Only time will tell

Oh my god!!! I said O was a great recruiter and he would have been 11-1 in 16.

Man I was really politicking for O.

If anything your dumbass just proved that I’m not biased and was willing to give him credit.

That is until he shite the bed and showed how truly in over his head he is.

Coach O has moved the program significantly forward. He has done this in spite of ridiculous destructive negative crap from program detractors.

I don’t think you can even argue we moved forward let alone significantly forward. In fact there’s an argument to be made that we’ve moved backwards. Perhaps this season will change things, and I hope it does, but to say we’ve moved significantly forward is just not accurate.

What somebody like Jimbo Fisher, who lost 63-20 to Louisville the same year we beat Louisville 29-9. Actually, Coach O has a better resume than a lot of those other coaches that you guys love so much. Coach O has coached with Jimmy Johnson, Dennis Erickson,Pete Carroll,Sean Peyton, and Lane Kiffin. National Championship and Super Bowl winning coaches, along with being an ace recruiter. And folks Keep wondering how he did he get a head coaching job.

Actually Coach O is a career loser. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. I really hope it was a poor troll job.

Actually anybody would have lost at Ole Miss.He doesn't have a losing record at LSU with good players. So let's stay in reality.

Well, if Orgeron is a recruiting guru, why wasn't he able to get the players there? Isn't that part of being the head coach?

He recruited very well at Ole Miss. He just couldn't get it done on the field. Many think the reason why Houston Nutt had such quick initial success was because Orgeron left the cupboard full.

Of course, Orgeron will probably say that he got fired right as he was about to turn a corner and point to Nutt's success as proof of this. But obviously we'll never know if that's true or not.
