Who would have been a better hire than Pelini?

My D in the 9/10 year old Y league here in Shreveport gave up less than a 100 yards a game...against mostly spread offenses.
I guarantee I'm as qualified at this point as BP.

Kris Richard was who I wanted

I think we were considering Jeff Fisher that would've been a very fun hire

I've got several pairs of khakis and LSU polos. I'd taken the job for 1/10th of Pelini and would have produced the same results so far.

Tigerdroppings isn’t a search committee. I can’t stand this question. There are hundreds of guys out there who would’ve been more effective than Pelini, it’s not our job to tell you who they are. That’s why we have an athletic director

What's your angle here? That the product on the field is the best we could do at the time?

Who’s the guy who is the new MSU DC? Wasn’t he the guy at San Diego State Univeraity?

Zach Arnett. I'm surprised y'all backed off of him. His scheme has looked really good considering the lack of talent we have on the defensive side of the ball.

I’m just curious who we could have realistically gotten instead of Pelini. I find it difficult to believe that he was the best available. Did LSU not do their do their job in searching for a replacement for Aranda? Was it just nostalgia because LSU had won a national championship when he was defensive coordinator under Miles? I know hind sight is 20/20 but was anyone really excited about the Pelini hire?

I was when they were talking about a more attacking style defense during the summer. I'm also wrong a lot

We are paying over $2 million a year. Who wouldn't take this job?
