Its a fantastic analogy, as long as you admit kelly/biden was pretty good at all of his other stops and that biden is a borderline all time great president…..i guess

I swear some of you act like kelly went 6-6 for 4 years

Well brian kelly was a borderline all time great coach, just trying to show how dumb the analogy is

I’d rather not compare our new head coach to a 34 count felon

I was pretty excited with the hiring of BK. Turns out he was nothing but a lazy carpetbagger.

Kelly got lazy, was an a-hole, didn’t fit here and made some bad hires. With that said, he could easily have gotten away with being an a-hole had he won.

Hopefully Lane doesn’t spend a lot more time on the golf course than his predecessor, nor punish anyone who dares criticize him, nor lie to us about everything, nor force people to bribe him, nor make us weaker, nor violate most rules, nor hire people that aren’t qualified, nor retain people who aren’t making us better.

I don’t vibe with the political analogy but think Kelly probably would have been better served finishing up his career at ND. He didn’t have the energy anymore to do what is needed to lead a Top 5 program. It’s amazing Nick Saban was able to do it for so long.

Happy we got Kiff…think it will be a good ride !

I’ll ignore your implied political bait.

Kelly came here with high expectations and was paid accordingly if not generously. He never came close to delivering on those expectations and was fired as a result. He appeared to phone it in this last year (I don’t recall feeling that way before this season), so the animosity increased ten fold.

Kelly did not do a terrible job at LSU. He did a terrible job of living up to the expectations and salary he was given, and that’s why he was fired. I doubt he would be fired if he was making 4-5 million, but he also would not have come to LSU for that contract.

I'm happy for the change but you're full of shite.

Did you actually watch the post game press conferences?

He always said blah blah blah, and it starts with me.

Let’s keep politics off Tiger Rant. BK seems to have lost his fire. We may never know why.

I kind of hate analogies like this. It just speaks to how the poster is infected with politics and sees it everywhere. Total apples to oranges comparison.

It's ironic you lead off your comment with Biden! As my deep hatred for Brandon, it was the first thing that came to mind regarding Kelly. As to what he actually did, in my books, simply NOTHING
