Here's the thing, I think the players wonder what he's doing too.
The defense is apparently all Aranda's. The offense is apparently all Canada's. Those two guys don't seem to have to answer to O for anything in terms of scheme, he just lets them do whatever they want.
"yay he's hand's off"
So there's no structure or internal discipline, it seems. And it sure looks like the players are performing like that too; there's no structure or discipline to their play. Just 'swag', and if that doesn't work, they're clueless.
I saw offensive plays where Guice was on the bench, Chark and the other WR didn't even know the ball had been snapped, and they were still trying to line up while Etling was getting pressured. That's a disaster for game 3.
I saw 2 separate defenders get ejected for targeting; yes, you could say at least one could have been bogus. But y'know what, the NCAA is tight on this call, and it's clearly going to be called, so you need to be aware of helmet to helmet, and edit that out of your game. Need to be practicing that out. Oh, wait, we're going easier in practice now, because "we're great and don't need to get tired during the week". Well, bullshite, we're not great, we're pretty damn bad. Poor technique, ill-prepared, unable to adjust, unable to handle adversity. And that's vs an unranked team, what in the hell will happen when we face the meat of the schedule?

The Miles episode has set us back big time , We had two studs pulling hard for us and we shot one and the other will have have time to learn to pull the load bye himself ! Time and fan support can fix this , it is the lack of fan support that has put us where we are !

This arrangement of relying on the two coordinators to do the work, while we pay DaCoachO 3.5 mil/ per is itself Exhibit A to the termination trial of Alleva.
It also means there is no accountability.
The Orgeron can simply argue that its not his fault, blame the coordinator. And, oh by the way, if it is his fault there is a $12 million buy out. This would be Exhibit B ...

Whoever supported the theory of hiring two good coordinators as their basis to support the O hire needs their head examined. Whoever supported this doesn't know jack shite about football. Why hire O? just make Aranda and Canada Co-head coaches.
