Is 3 wins enough this week? What's LSU need to do?

I would think they have to make the finals at a minimum

Not sure it really matters you play the same opening game. Would have to get lucky and have a three-seed win the opposing regional to get a super. Not sure what the 2v2 decision host factor would be.

Beating Arky twice would help a lot.

The only difference is home/away in the first game of regional.

This

But to answer your question I would say at least the Semifinals to be on the 2/3 bubble

Wouldn't it benefit LSU to be a high 3 seed over a weak 2 seed. This might be completely wrong, but I think a low 2 seed means they'd be more likely to get paired with a national seed.

I want to say if both teams in the Super Regional weren't originally hosts, the host spot goes to the one that beat the national seed. Or maybe it just gets bid out.

Also, I'm not sure if it matters this year. I thought I read that only the places that were chosen as host sites could host Regionals and Super Regionals.

my understanding is that the 16 sites announced as hosts are the only one that will host Supers.
even if their team isn’t in it.

Theoretically the teams would be seeded on an "s" curve, meaning the best #1 seed would get the worst #2 seed and so on. However, I don't think they stick to that all that much given there is more emphasis to try to group teams regionally to cut down on travel costs, etc.

Other than getting the last AB in game 1 there is not much difference between being a 2 or 3

Better what If .. is if we win the whole damn thing ..
What the hell happens then ? They have already chosen host sites for regionals.. would the SEC tourney champion be a 2 seed somewhere, when you have probably 5 teams finishing in the top 8 overall in the country ?
Just a thought that makes you go hmmmm.. ??
