This Covid year is a throw away. Because of Covid, we are missing critical personnel that opted out. No tune-up games, etc.

It is just not a normal season.

Next year, we should return almost everyone but Marshall and Stevens.

What do you expect to see?

I think 9-3 is possible ceiling and 6-6, maybe better, as the floor. Some of that depends on whether Bo is retained (which he will be).

Very low unless the defense shows vast improvement this year.

If we look better against USCe, even a little bit better, I’d say 3 losses. I think if we haven’t improved in 2 weeks by the 4th game of the season, that we’re in for a long 3 years, perhaps an even longer 6

I expect to contend for the SEC West next season. Those should be the perennial expectations in normal circumstances. We should never finish worse than 9-3/10-2.

We have most of this team returning. It should be playoff or bust

I think There is a big bounce back.

I think We only lose Stevens and Cox.

Potentially Anthony Logan and Ferrell.

Everyone else should be back. We will have an off-season in the system. Our most talented DL won be freshmen.

I am Hoping we get some real game changer freshmen too. Foreman and Smith would make our DL pretty formidable.

IDK if Pelini is here, but he probably is.

not a serious contender next year. 8-4 or 9-3 at best.

hate to break this to you, but stingley is not going to risk injury unless he has a major insurance policy. no way he plays next year... covid (Chase) opened the door for sitting out your junior year and going into the draft... I still think the NCAA should allow schools to purchase the insurance policies instead of the parents having to do it..

Stingley plays.

I wont Give up on that till it happens.

Covid also opened the door for agents to front players money sooner than they usually can.

That won’t be in place next yearz

Very low as what our D has done and not done in our first three games indicates we have a structural problem.

Expectations should never change based on what our coaches are being paid and the level we’ve recruited. Compete to win the west, SEC title, and playoffs.

After 2017 I said 2018 would be a retooling year with few returning starters. In 2018 I thought 2019 we would be a contender based on returning talent. It went way beyond my expectations obviously.

After 2019 I knew 2020 would be a struggle, but did not anticipate how bad the D would be. I feel really good about 2021 with returning talent. Marshall will be the biggest loss (I doubt he returns as a SR). We have good young talent that returns in 2021. We should be better on the DL/OL next year and I like our young LB corps.

Need to see how we finish this year and who all comes back. Too early to properly make expectations.

I think this is a pretty pessimistic view. A lot depends on this recruiting class coming up but I think we realistically win 10 games but I think the ceiling is 12-0 and the bottom is 8-4
