How do they have UGA and Texas above LSU?

UGA is the only CFB program that matters in a state quite a bit bigger than Louisiana. Texas has more potential than anybody else if they would quit shooting themselves in the foot with bad hires and internal squabbling.

Alabama is the clear #1 right now but it's really splitting hairs for the 5 or 6 after that. You could make compelling arguments for any of them.

UGA is ranked high because they are the flagship program of one of the best states for talent. They could recruit nothing but GEORGIA players and have a top 3/5 class every single year. They are pumping mega millions into their football program to break the 1980 curse. Their adminstration is committed to winning

Why is this getting downvoted to hell?

This alone should warrant a few. And I see 12 there, after mine. You have 40 something upvotes. How fragile are you?

Clemson is up there, but they have only been relevant for the last 8years are so. Don't understand that one, and Texas hasn't won anything in decades, lol

I can see Texas even though I completely disagree, but UGA? Miss me with that.

LSU has to be #1 in underachieving relative to the above criteria.

Without question. IMHO, it’s inexcusable for LSU to not be a perennial top 5 team, consistently in the hunt for the playoff. There’s just too much damn talent and resources available. At the minimum, they should finish top 10 every year.

I understand the argument for Ohio State ahead of us. But GTFO with UGA and Texas being ahead
They’re on par with resources in states with more talent. It doesn’t really seem out of line.

Sure, but I took this to mean top jobs as in program potential or where you can win big and not as much about ranking accomplishments.

Understandable, just easy to gauge if it is translating head-up. I’d have UGA high but not above LSU
