We've come a long way from the preseason "believe it when I see it" narrative

So many skeptics. "We've heard this before", yada yada.

I think even those of us who drank the Kool Aid back then are surprised that it's been this much of a conversion.
Where do you stand?
Shocked?
Surprised?
Believed it would be better but not this much better?
Believed it all the way?

I thought the offense would be much better but lets be honest, no one could have predicted that it would be this good.

Embarrassed, because I didn't think Orgeron could lead us to an SECCG/Playoff birth.

I know he hasn't achieved this quite yet, but it's clear that he's capable.

Also, excited. This season has been a blast.

I'm shocked it's worked to the degree it has in the time it has.

I honestly didn't think O was capable of getting this change implemented. I felt like he tried with Canada, but when it didn't work he went the comfortable route with SE. That offense was obviously not going to get it done.

O clearly made the right call going out to get Brady and modernizing this offense. Combining that with getting Burrow, and it's two of the better calls we've seen LSU coaches make in a very long time.

100% shocked.

Don't think I'm alone in that reaction, either.

We always knew that if they would unlock the Juggs, the possibilities were endless

Anyone thinking the offense would be this good is lying.

Improved, sure. But not have a QB that will run away with the Heisman.

shite, even after the UT game I felt we needed to clean up the d a bit if we really wanted to win this thing, but the offense is just that good.

With what LSU has done, no coaches have an excuse anymore. They completely changed it in one off season, with one assistant.

More like two of the best moves ever for LSU football. O bringing in Brady and Burrow completely rejuvenated the program. I would go as far to say that Brady might be the most important assistant ever hired at LSU period.

I had heard it enough over the last 10+ years to doubt LSU would ever change drastically. I am absolutely floored that we have this offense and the frontrunning Heisman QB with 3 weeks to go.

The record doesn’t shock me, the way we got here has.

Well said. I thought 11-1 was going to be realistic this year. I knew the team was good, but to say we would be two games away from an undefeated season with the way the offense would have looked, I would have never ever believed.

considering we had heard it before for years i wasn't expecting much. O has righted the ship and it's beautiful to watch.

I had no doubts we would have one of our best offenses ever...but I never thought we would be one of the most prolific offenses in the country this year

“I predicted Joe Burrow to have one of the best seasons for a qb in cfb history.”

-Liars

I figured it would be better, but thought there was a chance that O would pucker and start interfering if they got shut down. This is probably Ensminger’s biggest contribution to the offense this year. He’s on board with all of it and Orgeron trusts him enough to let him and Brady attack even when convention says to be conservative. Now that that has paid off, he will trust Brady going forward, after Ensminger is gone.

I don’t think he’d have let an outsider OC do what it took to score that last TD at Texas. That drive seems to have been the foundation for the whole season.

I'm sure you are not alone, but not everyone was a non-believer. I'm 10% shocked, I knew we would be really good, but not heisman good.

I'm glad for our success.

Who said when Burrow said we were going to score 40-50 pts a game "yeah right"?
