Glad he is given a shot to start. More athletic than others in LF. Will hit for a higher avg and fewer strikeouts.

I'm upset at myself for not getting this joke in the game thread the other day. It took until just now for it to hit.
And now the song is stuck in my head. I think my ole lady is going to be introduced to the musical stylings of Cocaine Wayne this evening.

He had some swing and miss last year too, but this was a disappointing start to the season. His only hit was a bunt against the shift. He did hit that one in Game 1 really solid and then it just died in the wind.

I would feel like someone was overreacting if his average was low, after just 5 games, and he was hitting the ball hard a lot. So many innings can be killed with strike outs, when simple contact is all that's needed. I hope he gets it figured out.
