I think the real irony is that ESPN is using this show as a platform to decry the exploitation of the black athlete when their entire business model is built around the exploitation of athletes in general.

frick ESPN, Disney, the NFL, Gillette, Nike, and the other 185 companies that promote political correctness! Gillette lost $8 billion dollars over their toxic masculinity campaign and I hope all of them lose billions! Normal people are fricking tired of the PC bullshite being forced upon us by the small minority of mentally ill CEOs and those in Hollywood!

How are blacks hired for their skin color? Thats an absolute foolish thing to say.. its countless videos online of black people putting in job applications and identifying as black and not getting any calls. But once they put they are caucasian on the job applications thats when they get calls for interviews. Just shut the frick up you’re obviously biased

What? You can't ask race or even age on a job application.

The only time you are required to list your date of birth is if you are under 18.

Those videos are either extremely old, or fake.

All you do is get on here and throw insults around. But you don’t have anything to say back proving what I’m saying is wrong. You just try to make a mockery. Who said anything about Wakanda or anything close to that? What I’m saying is fact and I said myself we do hav opportunities today. So what are you getting at fool?

You do get asked your race and if you are a latino on every application I have ever filled out. Whether it be online or paper application.

As well as if you are disabled

Or if you are ex military

They ask you all those things on a job application

Bama/Bear Bryant introduced the black athlete to the SEC, but espn would NEVER disparage their business partner (bama).

Bear Bryant introduced the black athlete to the SEC after getting whipped by USC and John Mckay. Bama couldn't stop USC running back Sam "The Bam" Cunningham. When Sam Cunningham ran for 135yds and 2Td's against an all white alabama team, Bear Bryant then decided he needed to recruit the black athlete.

You may not understand what you’re implying in the majority of your posts, but I do.

If your point is simply, America would have been different if blacks were settlers, then yeah. No shite.

But that’s not really what you meant and you know it.

You continue to push this narrative that somehow your life was more difficult than others because you’re black and your great grandfather was a farmer. Despite multiple people sharing stories of their own families to the contrary. You dismiss those because “no one gives a frick everyone’s life is different.” Then you go on to ignore the clear advantages given to blacks over any other race.

You’ve not shared any objective fact, only personal anecdotes and assumptions to further your agenda. Which is quickly becoming clear.

What’s your position on reparations?

Not necessarily true. Africa has a lot of tribalism and issues with genociding their own race.

98% of black murders are by other blacks in this country.

I never have. You are opening yourself up to lawsuits. You'd have to be able to prove you are asking for a legitimate reason. Like government jobs may use it to just track data.

That’s because white people colonized and stole their culture.

Duh.

I never said my life was difficult because it wasn’t. Im just simply saying the the guy I originally replied to.

He said “ boohoo I couldn’t get into Harvard because of my grades”
All i said was thats not comparable. Of course if you don’t have straight As you won’t be able to get into Harvard. But being denied from all schools because of your race is an entirely different situation.

You can work hard in school and aspire to get accepted into Harvard. But BACK THEN if you were black you would get denied solely on that fact. I never said we don’t have opportunities today, but the quality of life for some would be different if our ancestors were allowed to go to school. That’s the entire reason HBCUs even exist is because they couldn’t get into the other schools even after slavery.

Thats the entire point of the OP. Whether you feel ESPN is stirring up shite or not. I don’t care, but what they said wasn’t fake news or false information

The real issue is that HBCs were denied the opportunity to enter the power conferences

As were the La Techs and other smaller "WHITE" colleges of the world. Let's be honest, the purpose of the HBC's is now antiquated and all should be closed nationwide! Blacks can go to any university in this country that they are qualified for and you leftists all know that this is true.

Is anyone actually arguing against that?

It’s the nature in which they chose to present this information that people take issue with. They did so for the purpose of furthering a narrative of white people bad, black people oppressed, America bad. That is what is fake news.

The same hold true for White on White crimes in America. You ever wonder why all you hear about is black on black crimes and never hear the term white on white crimes? Also, while the narrative is that there are more blacks on welfare than whites is simply FALSE. But that is the message that is spewed by the media.

One represents over 70% of the entire population while the other represents less than 15%.

By percentages, the one representing 15% have more on welfare and commit more violent crime than any other race in the country.

Downvote if you want, but it’s true. Statistics don’t lie.
