I know we have little or no knowledge of what goes on during practice or internally to the team in general, but doesn't it seem like there are some really surprising personnel decisions? For instance, why did Baskerville play most of the game in front of Queen? Why Magee over Hines (who may have never even gotten in the game)? Magee missed the block that caused Burrow's first fumble and changed the momentum of the game. Why more Helaire over Brossette? And the perplexing lack of PT for Jacoby Stevens. Although Stevens is classified as a Free Safety, is it absolutely forbidden that he can't play Strong Safety? I can't believe he couldn't do a better job than Battle IV. Finally, there's the Giles issue. Derrick Dillon is a proven threat. That he doesn't take Giles's spot is stupefying.

Wide receiver is the worst. Quit trying to get everyone 2-3 touches and focus on getting the best players 9-10.

Clyde was the better back besides the two long runs by Nick

nick was only averaging a little over 1 yard a carry in that game

And speaking of Giles, he needs to be taken from returning punts right now. I’ve played football so I know that on the field things are much faster than just watching, but the guy is not explosive at all. It seems as if he’s going for a casual jog when he fields a punt or catches a pass

Dillon was in the game after Giles had his few touches and didn't do anything with him. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out going forward.

Before the season, Ensminger was quoted as saying they wanted to rotate the WRs a lot of keep them fresh. They felt like last year the WRs were gassed late in the game and it limited what they could call on offense.

I agree with that Stevens needs to be on the field in some form or fashion. I'm not exactly sure what Battle brings to the table. He gets beat mentally and physically.

Yeah I agree, to me it looks like the coaching staff plays favorites based on something other than game time performance.

Why Magee over Hines
. Why not Campbell over either of them? He started last and played as well as Hines has?

I agree 100%. All of the guys below should get significant targets before Giles. Shoot - I'd even try out Jaray Jenkins and Kenan Jones before him.
- Chase
- Jefferson
- Sullivan
- Anderson
- Marshall
- Dillon

Jefferson has been our most productive receiver and looks like Burrow's security blanket. Imo, Chase is the guy that has the most upside even as a freshman. We have got to find a way to get him more involved.

This is what I want to know. Moreau had a good catch and run, but I would like to see McMath get some touches. He looked decent in the Ole Miss game and I was hoping his snaps would increase.

I agree. Nick was unproductive outside of the first drive until the 4th quarter TD. I thought once that happened, feed him again because he found success.

Where was jamar chase?

This is true, but it made ZERO sense to take Nick out of the game the drive after he ran for 74 yards and a TD. UF had to be extremely concerned at that point and having him in the game would have drawn their D's attention to him. We could have had great play action with him in at that point. Or we could have run for another 74 yards. Stupid decision.

CEH has more speed. Brossette is slower and we couldn’t block running between the tackles. CEH should have played ahead of Brossette and did against Florida when our OL can’t win one on one battles

whoever decided that Brossette should be rewarded with single handedly giving LSU the lead back with not playing another snap the rest of the game should be forced to forfeit their paycheck this week, whether it was O or Ensminger, I would assume Ensminger.

I dont care if he has negative rushing yards for the game. he picked up. every. single. yard. on that 75 yard drive. and the thanks he gets for that is to ride the pine the rest of the game?

Perhaps I'm wrong, but on UF's first TD drive it appeared LSU had many of it's backups in on defense. I seem to recall White being on the bench during that drive (particularly when UF got inside the red zone)

I know there is an emphasis on rotating players to keep guys fresh for the 4th quarter. And I know it was very hot. But I don't understand how you can sit your best LB while watching the opponent drive the ball down your throat. I also think Fulton was out watching Joseph get beat on a (relatively) long pass.

LSU's LB's just kept getting blown off the ball on that drive all while White just sat on the sidelines helplessly watching. At minimum, you have to put him back in once UF got inside the 20.

IMO, it looked like Queen was taking bad angles and overpersuing when he was in, creating voids that allowed Florida to gash us on the ground. Baskerville appeared to be taking much better angles but was having a very hard time making tackles. Tyler Taylor really left us in a bind.
