They've used Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, Muse and other non-rap artist in the past, and there were some people complaining about that. You can't please everyone.

I'm not the biggest rap fan, but this song fits perfectly for last weeks game

I dont know if im more impressed with that pick or Patrick's against WVU when he caught it on his shoulder pad or when he out jumped the UL Monroe receiver

PP definitely had some eye popping int's...Miss State pick wasn't bad either. But my favorite was the Bama pick that wasn't.

Certainly stirs up some emotions for sure.

I appreciate your presumptions but that's speculation at best. What about the other 90% of the fan base? (I can speculate too, but I think I'm a bit closer to actual numbers)

Well, considering that lesmiles.net is a fricking site for recruits to visit and 90% of the football team listens to rap I'd say they probably know a little bit more about what appeals to high school football players than you do coach.

Don't get me wrong there are awful rap songs, but there are awful songs in every genre. If you try listing to the lyrics of rap instead of instantly disregarding its value, you will find some very impressive stuff.
It's been my experience that you have to dig pretty deep to find lyrics that merit the term "impressive". In general, if people find these lyrics impressive, we're in deep doo-doo. Why is it that every good LSU video compilation has to scored along side shallow, hedonistic, pointless, all-about-me gutter-punk opera?

Great highlights......not a fan of rap by any stretch, but as others have said, song choices have been solid and fitting each week.

2:40ish.....love to see a running back delivering the blow!

OK Chaucer...
Saul Williams, Nas, Pac, Common, Lupe, and even Wayne disagree with you.

This is still my favorite video this year. Don't click if rap will embarrass you.

that was against state, not wvu. PP didn't have a pick against wvu. mathieu was the only player that did

Great video. Rapp is not representative of the LSU fan base in general, IMHO. That needs to be fixed. Most viewers find it embarrassing to watch their beloved University constantly associated with this type of mindless "art".
