Two things.

1 it is still way too early to know what the weather will be Ike Saturday/Sunday. Those percentages will change everyday.

2 it’s south Louisiana in June there is a chance of rain every afternoon.

Rain delays would be horrible for our chances in the World Series.

You do realize, it could be raining across the street and sun shining at the box...that's the summer time pattern...

Very much so. If for no other reason than to just cool things off. This heat has been ridiculous for early June.

I don't know allot about FSU's bullpen, but I feel like it's probably not as deep as ours. If multiple rain delays happen that implies the starters will be burned early. We have 5-6 guys who we feel confident can pitch 3-5 innings. I doubt FSU has that.

Thanks for this thread. I cut my grass with assistance from the headlights on my lawnmower after work because I had no clue the impending rain we are about to get in a day or two. With that said, game on! Lets do this! We’ll get it in. Grounds crew are awesome

Rain delay last year cost FSU a regional. Starter was up over a 100 pitches. They brought him back in the 9th after the delay and State went yard to win.

They won't make that mistake again
