We will beat Bama

It should be a great game. Kelly came to LSU so it would be an even playing field against Saban. You just know he wants to beat Bama so bad.

Nobody is beating Bama by that much but I do 100% believe we can beat them by a few points in two weeks. Brian Kelly is coaching us now. Gone are the days of shitty preparation during the off week before this game. CBK will have the team prepared to exploit Bama's weaknesses.

This is a new era at LSU - one where we actually use the off weak to our advantage instead of taking it easy.

Do I think we will beat Bama this year? Nah, I'm honest enough with myself to not expect it but I believe we definitely can beat them and I know we will stay competitive.

I agree we CAN beat Bama. Will we? Special teams win close games and LSU’s have been special.

Running quarterbacks have always given Saban's teams fits. I think this game will be similar to the Ole Miss game in that we get off to a terrible first quarter start, begin to settle a bit in the second quarter, then turn it on after the half. JD5 can run and throw with the best of them. If the receivers can learn the timing of their routes and know when to look, take a step back, and do their thing we will be a two-headed monster for Bama. I really feel we have a great chance of beating them this year. If an already-fired mentally challenged Edward Orgeron almost beat them there last year with a depleted team, CBK can certainly beat them at home in two weeks with a team that's finding its groove and identity.

I mean we do have them at night in death valley. If this game is within a field goal going into the half, I really like our chances.
