They've already got two bad kickers. Why would a third one make the difference?

You knew we would feed Trent. We did NOT know you would bench lee, put in a scrambler, and run option so much. The two are not the same.

You might have been that unaware, but I guarantee that Saban knew that JJ would see a lot of playing tme. Heck anybody should have known it.

So, since he was effective, you didn't think we'd stick with him?

...damn... I VASTLY overestimated Bama's coaching staff.

so we knew that LSU would bench their undefeated Quarterback and play the backup the ENTIRE 2nd half? This happens on the norm?

The initial point that i made is that Jordan Jefferson was the DIFFERENCE in this game. He was the one element besides kicker that separated the teams.

JLee wasn't effective. JJ was. The staff makes an adjustment and they stuck with what was working. Pretty novel concept, no?

"Skewed because of jefferson and the option. not like it was just pounding it at us all game. Jefferson was THE difference in the game period. No jefferson, bama wins AT LEAST 6-3
"

by that token, No lee and the ints and we win

Without a doubt. But whining like we cheated because we had some sort of secret weapon QB who no one thought would play is disingenuous. And quite frankly makes you, and your coaches, look like a bunch of inept bitches.

God you're an idiot....You do realize we played Jefferson the entire 2nd half against Tennessee, right? So why would ya'll be so shocked we did the same against Bama?

Wow, you do realize that you are giving it away that you came here talking smack before the game without having watched one LSU game all year, don't you?

Know how I know you haven't watched LSU play since the fifth game of the season?

Also, if we assume that what you said is true, then your genius coach was unable to prepare his team for an eventuality that we've used in EVERY game since Kentucky. Cheers.

Anybody who watched that game should have clearly seen that the only difference in the 2 teams was Jordan Jeffersons mobility. I dont know why yall are taking that as an insult, its a damn compliment. (besides FG kicking) but w/o jefferson we wouldnt have needed a kicker

RJB, you've been pretty reasonable around here post-game. The national media and many of your Gumpmates have not and are not. This game has been dissected hundreds of different ways. A defensive battle of equals. We were getting stronger and ya'll were getting weaker at the end. That's obvious.

The majority of non-LSU people are at least partially buying into the "bad kicker", "Bama beat themselves", "LSU is lucky" lines of thinking and there's little rational basis for it.

If bammer wants to say that about their field goal kicker then i guess that we were one good reciever away from blowing them out , Randle didnt catch a catchable touchdown and if you wanna exclude plays what "IF" randle catches that ball ...does LSU run the score up and just start scoring tds ,who knows and who cares ....we won bammer lost so everyone who has a problem with the way LSU won needs to just get over it ......and they make medicine for those who cant
