As much as I hate the chase news we still have one of the 5 most talented rosters in the country. We had the best receiver in the last several years in Jamar Chase, but we have higher rated young men waiting to take his spot. With the guys replacing him I still think we have the talent to score over 40ppg with a defense capability of holding under 20ppg. The chase loss is a 3-5ppg loss in my opinion.

Receiver is the only position we could lose our best player and still be a contender. It just means Arik Gilbert will be playing in the slot all year with Marshall and McMath on the outside and Taylor ar TE.

Well yeah, only 24 teams are playing so a lot of teams have the talent to do that.

I’m gonna enjoy watching but don’t see LSU being championship level, just too inexperienced at too many positions. Maybe year 2 of Brennan and the 4-3.

Agreed we can still win it all this year. We are just as talented as anyone and I don’t see our offense letting us down.
