to protect Burrow...Ole Miss is already going to be going after him with cheap shots....at this point, it's detrimental to the team and his punishment should be re-evaluated and distributed elsewhere.

He's your blindside for God's sake.

Absolutely. I’ve been screaming this but it’s even more important now.

Assuming he’s stayed clean it’s time to put it in the rear view mirror and have all hands on deck.

This is pathetic self-inflicted holier than thou bullshite.

I get it....but at this point its a diminishing return. Just play the guy and win out...you can make his life miserable some other way.

It's not about him at this point. It's about trying to keep it from happening again.

I’m not questioning anything O does from here on out. He told the senior starting middle linebacker to take a “leave of absence” from the program 6 days before the alabama game. Assuming Divinity didn’t just straight up walk away. He’s running this program the right way and has my full support (not that it matters) to do that however he sees fit.

I imagine Charles will be ready to roll if needed. If this game seems to be in jeopardy, and our line is the cause of it, you'll probably see Charles come in and play.

I'm assuming he has two games left, and Ole Miss and Arkansas are the best options remaining.

Can't unbreak an egg. If Burrow gets rocked or injured from behind, how is bringing Charles in after the fact help?

They better start Charles because Decalus looks like he might not play, not good having both OT out.

My thoughts when Miles was sent packing

PokerPastime on 9/30/16 at 9:35 am Absolutely. There needs to be a complete cultural change in the program. The culture of discipline, accountability, and striving for greatness slowly regressed over Miles' tenure. My biggest hope is that whoever is brought in I'd able to reinstate that culture in quick fashion. But it will take time...

IMO that is exactly what CEO is doing

Its obviously been established. Keeping him out two more games has the potential for a lot more harm than good.

Then he has to sit against Ark and A&M. We aren't sitting him against A&M

Not happening. Need him for the reckoning with the Aggies to further restore order.

We can always pass less to protect Joe. Traore may have a pretty bad slide step, but he can damn sure plow the row (Magee too).

To keep Joe on his Heisman pace I say we just RPO them to death. Let's see him get triple digits running, pull some special passes out of the bag in the redzone to give him passing TDs and roll on like nothing happened.

There’s no reason not to shave off a game for the sake of the team/Burrow’s historic season.

Guys, it doesn’t work like that. It is above O. He can’t make the call for this. He has to sit out 2 more games.

Then fire our compliance dept.

Magee will be fine at LT.
The coaches can scheme around any major issues with Traore.

He can’t step in after the fact. Our policy at this time says 6 games. If you don’t adhere to the policy you have, it is a violation.

Next year, get rid of the policy.

So retarded. Make him run 1000 sprints. Don’t punish the team, fan base, state. He didn’t rob a freaking bank. I’ll bet nobody in the compliance Dept played a single sport or ever stepped in a gym.
