We need a new Governor and new BOS chair. DO NOT vote for JBE this October.

It is becoming more apparent that the current chair of the LSU Board of Supervisors James M. Williams is the cause of the major breakdown in crisis management after the Yahoo Sports article. It is not clear what Williams' motivations are; ego, favoritism, money, etc., but one thing is clear he is not acting in the best interest of LSU.

Apparently only Governor JBE has the power to remove James Williams but since Williams is appointed to a political position it doesn't appear JBE will replace Williams.

The most clear recourse is to vote in a new governor and hope that a new governor appoints BOS members with LSU as their primary interest.

Do the right thing. Vote out JBE this October.

The 2019 election will be Oct. 12, with a Nov. 16 runoff if no candidate gets more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary.

Jindal also played a key role in CLM keeping his job after the TAMU game.

It's not the only reason.

What other reason? You want another Jindal in office?

That entire situation deserves a documentary. The number of power players (Jindal,Shaq, other state officials) who flexed their muscle to keep Les Miles after that game is bizarre.

Certainly get the sentiment here. However, this governor has been very pro-LSU legislatively and has done things to relieve the annual financial stress the university has faced. The previous administration seemingly did not care about LSU one bit.

In politics you don't need much.

"I'm not voting for JBE because of what he did to Coach Will Wade" will carry a lot of political weight come October...like 5-10% of the Louisiana electorate.

JBE better do something to mitigate that political hit before it's too late.
