We might need to look at cannibalizing the WR room...

...and moving a Chris Hilton or a Malik Nabers over to cornerback.

You can pretty much count on Jay Ward going back to corner at this point. Maybe Major Burns, too.

All my love to Corey Raymond for leaving the secondary in such good shape. To think he jacked Kelly up for a raise amid this shitshow.

Absolutely not! Transfer Portal my friend. It can help you as much as it hurts you.

Raymond is a clown. He was unknown before he came here and will be forgotten now that he’s gone. LSU made him, not the other way around.

They're hitting the portal hard.

They're going to get Mekhi Garner from ULL.

They're going to get Greg Brooks from Arkansas.

They already signed Latterance Welch.

With today's age of football you know some safeties will spend a lot of time playing nickel.

They could probably use one more, but the corner room will be fine.

We will load up from the transfer portal. We won't be good, but we won't have to play safeties at CB and certainly not WRs...at least until mid-season attrition occurs.

At some point there is no more blood to bleed.

Don't forget that Corey Webster and Travis Daniels were wide receivers at one point in their careers.

Garnwr will help at outside corner.

Brooks is a nickel.

Going to need one more on the outside and a safety. Should be joe foucha from arkansas.

How is this any different from recruiting and retaining though? If our own kids dont want to be here, why would a transfer?

If Hilton finds himself #5 or #6 at wide receiver and sees the potential of a starting job at corner, he might even initiate the change.

Kids like playing time. You never know.

He’s not a CB. He’ll go somewhere else.

Hell he might hit the road anyway lol

Both of the guys you listed are too good for that.

And, it's a different world now. You are living in an old paradigm. Each of these kids is a transfer away to a situation of their choosing to put themselves on the field. And, LSU is a transfer away from replacing holes on the depth chart.
