We could potentially have a great return game this fall:

Tre White
Donte Jackson
Derrius Guice
Tyron Johnson

D.J. Chark
Saivion Smith
Devin Voorhies
Lanard Fournette

If our defense can force punts from deep in opponents' territory, it should help our starting field position with the fast and tough return guys we have.
White is a good PR, Guice on KRs, and Saivion Smith is a potential Patrick Peterson.....

Donte and Derrius need to take over the return game.

Have you forgotten how god-awful we were on special teams last year?

I remember Guice getting annihilated returning kicks in the Alabama game. That was hard to watch.

I'll never understand how after the first hit, no one put Michael Nysewander on his arse. There was a time when Tiger special teams were nasty head hunters. Very disappointing.

Not disagreeing with the rest of the names, but how does a linebacker get mentioned in this conversation?

It seems like Div 2 teams have Ks who can kick the ball out of the end zone so why can't LSU??

LSU tries to get cute and kick it high or whatever but it always seems to fail. Kick the ball deep in the end zone or out of it then start at the 25. STs KO problem solved.

I'll be pulling for the forgotten man, Derrick Dillon. Has the right build and speed for return man. Plus I think he's the type of athlete that we need to find a way to get him on the field.

Donte Jackson should be one of the deep men for kickoffs. I agree Dillon should get a good long look as the other guy back there. You have to figure T. White will be handling most of the punt returning duties. Other guys we may see returning kicks: Guice, Chark, Drake Davis, Cam Lewis

I don't believe White was the most capable guy returning kicks. It takes instincts that I haven't seen from him.

I would agree, but he was back there last year so you have to figure he'll be back there his senior year.

We used to be the most physically intimidating creatures in college football.

Man I wish we could snag Cochran...Moffitt has lost his edge...
