We are going to have to beat Bama again in order to win the entire thing

Let’s face it, if we want to accomplish any of our goals this year of winning the national title, we are going to have to play Bama again. Baylor won’t go undefeated, Minnesota won’t go undefeated, a 12-1 PAC 12 team or OU will not get into the playoffs.
Bama will be the number 4 team in the college football playoff rankings come December 8th, and you know what? That’s perfectly fine with me. Give us another rematch game with Bama and we’ll win by double digits. We are a lot better than they are this year and I welcome a rematch game with Bama

With only 1 top 25 win it would be hard to justify them getting in the playoffs.

I don’t think they deserve to get in but they will get in at the end of the season

So , do you feel its fair that a team you beat on their turf that didnt win the west or play in the conference championship and played a shite schedule throughout the year still gets into the playoffs after sitting at home healing up and relaxing is the team you should have to beat again ?

Why give them another chance at us? They only had to beat us once in 2011. Why should be have to beat them twice, especially when they are clearly undeserving of being the CFP?
I do believe that Bama will be #4 when the rankings come out tomorrow night, but I don't expect them to stay there. They have nothing left to boost their argument other than the Iron Bowl. All of the teams below them have more games against ranked opponents. That will help teams like Oregon, OU, Minnesota, even Baylor potentially move up and pass Bama.

Why should a one loss Pac-12 team or any other one loss team who has not played LSU be left out?

It will be interesting to hear the play off talk the next week when Bama plays Western Carolina. ill timed game for the tide.

We beat Bama impressively at their place, but this board CAN'T STOP obsessing over them. It's like the Stockholm Syndrome, in a way.
And Bama's not getting in over a 1-loss Pac-12 or 1-loss Big 12 champ. Not happening.

If this is the scenario at the end of the season: LSU 13-0 OSU 13-0 Clemson 13-0 OU 12-1 Bama 11-1 Oregon 12-1, then Bama is automatically above Oregon because Bama has a win over a team that beat Oregon, and they’ll be put above OU because OU lost to Kansas State. It would be
1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Alabama
5. Oklahoma
6. Oregon
1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Alabama
5. Oklahoma
6. Oregon
