We are getting the best DB prospect to ever come out of LA. (Stingley)

Youtube
I mean...... just look at this dudes highlight film for those who havent seen it. It’s comparable to Anthony Davis’s highlight films. It’s just unfair. Stingley is that good that he could potentially be an NFL WR if he came in as a WR for LSU. But he is doing the right thing coming in as a CB, who will likely start day 1.
At 0:51 on the youtube clip, you can see how good he is at breaking to the ball in coverage. He covers like a hawk, has size and speed, plays the run dominatly, and has IQ. He may be our next Patrick Peterson and I fully expect him to be that and maybe more. I also hope he returns punts next year and maybe, just maybe, Orgeron has something up his sleeve for him on offense at time.
I wish Miles gave PP some offensive looks. Even if it werent run to him, he would have been a good decoy, just like I believe Stingley can be.

Can he play point guard too?

About to get a commitment from the number one CB for next year too.

Some of the best corner back play I've ever seen from any player, HS, college or pro. This kid has IT all. His burst is Elite, break is Elite, hands are Elite, footwork is beyond his years, tackling is absurd and his football smarts is also beyond his years. This dude should be the unanimous #1 recruit. Anyone having him outside of the top 3 is just dumb.

I’ll drink some decoy from time to time. Merry Christmas!

I have a friend who got a SB ring with the Patriots. He told me that this young man has the best footwork he has ever seen on any level. He said he was NFL ready NOW based on footwork alone.

Damn. I have to admit, I had never seen this kid before today. I knew he was good... but I’ve never seen a highlight video like that.
Damn.
Damn.

We all know why he isn't on 247 at least. He committed early and not to Bama. Plus, he is skipping the all star games to practice with LSU. It's all good though. We know what we are getting.

Obviously he meant talent wise that there comparable. Even though it's different sports. .you gotta love the punt return wall in high school. Somebody always gets blown up. You'd think they'd learn eventually

I mean, with the great DBs just at LSU you could compare him to, let alone from other teams, he picked a player in a totally different sport.

How does he compare to Patrick Peterson?
Posted on 12/25/18 at 10:51 am to Tigerpride18
And obviously I was joking.
But, like Ell said, you could compare him to another talented football player. Any of them.
Pretty sure by the looks of the time it was posted, he was sauced up.

What fans don’t realize is the quality of talented DB’s LSU has before their DBU name was a thing. Chevis Jackson, Jonathan Zenon, Brandon Taylor, Ron Brooks, Cedric Donaldson were all great DB’s.
