Why do you idiots only look at things from one perspective?

LSU is ahead of Houston, who has a better record, and a head to head win

Does that mean we have a better record?

Boohoo....

Take off your p&g glasses and compare UK & TU losses to LSU’s losses.

In a completely different, inferior conference.

Same conference. I can handle UK being ahead of us, but UT?

LSU didn’t do anything besides beat Furman, UNCG, and St Mary’s. That still matters.

Shouldn't wins and losses be considered as well as head to head?

If we beat the UF/Ark winner, we'll be a 2 seed. Win the tourney and there is an outside chance at a 1.

voter poll rankings are irrelevant.

It's ultimately about winning the conference, and then what the Selection Committee thinks. The NET rankings matter, but those are hard data metrics, with no silly opinion voters.

Regardless, it's all about a total body of work. We have no good OOC win, and some bad OOC losses. And we lost to Arky and UF at home, late in the season.

UT's three losses are to us on the road in OT, to Kansas in OT at a neutral site, and to UK on the road (which they avenged). And they also beat Gonzaga.

Their overall resume is much stronger than ours.

Fine... also go check out UK & TU’s quality wins OOC compared to LSU and get back to us on that as well.

All OP is considering is head to head in a vacuum while dressed in p&g overalls making jambalaya in from of Mike’s cage.

Losing to LSU without our #1 player is strong indeed. Either UK or Tenn will have one more loss and not reach the SEC Final. If LSU makes the SEC final, your argument looks silly.

We also have wins against UK number 4 and Tenn number 9.

That should count alot.

It does. But, as I said, it's about the entire body of work over 30+ games.

Ky has NC and Kansas
Tenn has Gonzaga

LSU has none

LSU has two big wins in conference.
Ky and Tenn each have one

I can see Ky ahead of us, but I can make a case we should be ahead of Tenn

as of now, Tennessee's resume is much stronger. Really, really hard to deny that.

UT's losses are MUCH better, they have an exceptional win (Gonzaga), and their loss to us was in OT on the road.

That being said, I'll take that SEC Championship trophy all day long!!

I have no problem with the rankings. They have a better resume than us. We are not getting 1 seed with our OOC wins.
And we will get 2 seed. So rankings do not matter
