WCWS- how hard to get tickets on game day?

For those that have gone, is it much like the men's CWS where you can find tickets fairly easily outside the stadium? Looking to the wife (no pics) and kid, but was wondering about going without tickets in hand.
Also, hotel or area recommendations for staying around OKC?

Softball always looks packed on tv and has a larger national following than baseball it seems.

I have been and getting tickets was pretty easy. The big issue this year is that Oklahoma made it. Getting tickets for any session they are in may be tough. It is a fun trip.

Good point about OU. Still think I am safe finding 3 tickets around the stadium? I would hate to drive up and not be able to get in.

I've been several times never a problem even when OU is playing
