It is hard I suppose for some to understand the whole darn team starters and subs are starting in the NFL or darn close to it.

The Hiring of Bo Pelini will go down in LSU history as the second worst hire since curley hallman. TO pay a guy that kind of money when he hadnt coached a defense in like over 10 years and never against the spread. To top it off no one wanted him. could have paid him 1 million per and he would have taken it I think woodard is to blame more than O on this hire.

Even if your premise is correct, which I doubt....why couldn’t O fix the schematic deficiency in Pelini’s D? Did he not see as a problem? We know he didn’t in fall camp when it was labeled light years ahead of 2019.

If we struggle next year, will it be Mason’s fault as well?

I believe with Ron Cooper and a healthy backend this defense could have worked as soon as the LB depth was improved. There simply weren’t the players.

With that, the Optics were bad and Orgeron felt the pressure. You can’t make gold out of turds that were left from last season.

You seem Angry that a guy that sucked all year in making adjustments during game and coached a LB'ing group that didnt improve very much throughout the year should be retained. So what do you sugguest Moron? give Bo another year? Alot of teams were down players this year but a team with 4 and 5 star talent on defense should not be close to last in the nation in defense and still be lost in the last game of season.

Raymond didn’t coach the safeties. They were the weak link. Safety play was putrid.

Bama lost about the same in the draft yet managed to be the #1 team in the country.

I get a good laugh when TV commentators refer to us as "the defending national champs". At face value, that is true.

In reality, we are a brand new start-up team.
