Was there a report that came out that made people more optimistic about the defense?

I’m seeing a notable increase in optimism for tomorrow and beyond
People are back on the 6-4/7-3 prediction wagon
Did an insider say the defense is much improved at practice?
Just curious what is driving this trend

Just a normal game week. Everyone starts off pissed off because the defense sucks. Then a sense of false optimism starts to develop. Then the game is played. Rinse and repeat.

My hope was for more lineup changes; a bigger DE opposite Gaye, Stevens to LB....after looking at the depth chart today I’m back to reality.

The defense can’t get worse so they have that going for them. Fully agree even if they look improved its South Carolina.

I thinks it’s just that we know we have a ton of talent and SHOULD be better but we simply haven’t shown it. But, everyone knows we should for sure be better with the talent we have.

After the first 3 games, it’s hard to believe Bo has relented to making any adjustments. I just don’t think he has it in him to change his game plan.
