Was Naz even going to class?

So, if a guy goes into his one semester planning on being a one&done and convinced he's a 1st-round lock, I'd imagine he's not too worried about grades... as the season/ semester unfolds, and his stock may fall, or he gets a bad evaluation post-season, do you think that there's been players who change their mind and would like to stay another year to improve their stock, but can't because they've tanked it in the classroom?

Just wondering if this ever plays out as a possible scenario...

Yes it happens and it probably hurts the team's APR somehow. Definitely hurts the team GPA.

I may be wrong, but basketball goes into March. They would have to at least make grades good enough the fall semester to play in the spring. Haven’t we seen some football players be held out of bowl games because they f’d around in the fall semester that particular season?

I thought I heard Ott say last week on Sports today that Naz had attended his classes.

Maybe he was talking about another player though I wasn’t listening that well.
