Walker Howard is the real deal

Just because he’s leaving it doesn’t mean he’s all of a sudden he can’t play. Go read the write ups from the elite 11 to his impact in spring and fall camp. The kids is an elite qb. He did us a major favor by coming here. He deserve a chance to plans get to his dreams. Look at guys like drake maye and Quinn ewers. They both came out in there redshirt years and really put there name on the map. If Walker is competitive which is he is then he wants his name/game to be on display as well. He’s doing us a major service by going to tcu and not an sec team.
I wish him luck and hope to god he ends up. Wing a first round pick.

Battle and lose then transfer, I get it. Transferring before the battle begins is weak.

Why cut him slack? Other qbs here wasnt exempt from the shite that was said on here. He ran from competition /end.

This is best case scenario. He looked lost and way behind but that doesn’t mean he won’t get it at some point. I wish him all the best as long as he goes to TCU. If he’s in the sec, I hope he blows

There actually wasn’t much coverage of him in the elite 11. He went from a borderline 5* to around the 100th prospect in the country between his JR and SR year. He looked terrified to be on the field in spring. Saying he is “the real deal” is much more insane than saying he wasn’t going to cut it. The fact is he was far behind both of the other QB’s on the roster and that’s why he was running the scout team rather than competing for the job.

He may have the physical tools, and may be able to light it up in 7 on 7. But if the rumors of him not wanting to continue running the scout team are true, then he comes across as rather immature, and he is obviously not ready. God bless him.

You sound like a scared bitch. If he went to another SEC team to start next year I'd feel great knowing that our 1st and 2nd string QB's are better than their starter.

No one player is bigger than LSU. He did is no favors considering he wasted a scholarship for us last year since he's transferring. Could have used that scholarship on someone who contributed or someone who is staying to develop.

Ewers was a mega recruit 5 star. Maye is the rare qb who is star early in college, can't compare Howard since no one has seen anything out of him in college. Its wishcasting at this point.

I'm with you, people forget Daniels left a team as a three year starter. Not every QB is happy with there present situation. Daniels had no excuse to leave in my opinion.

The bottom line is you can’t expect a 4-5 star QB wait 4 years to play. Most importantly it is the development piece. He would have been running the scout team and then waiting another 2 years after that to play. He most likely would have not beaten out Nuss next year. Now that he is transferring people are knocking his ability. He will be a good QB in time. On the other hand you can’t blame the coaching staff for going with proven talent.

If you google Walker Howard elite 11. His performance was highlighted daily and he was frequently mentioned as one of the top QBs in attendance.
