You want to understand why we struggle?

Great example. Late first half, Eason makes a lazy pass at the top of the key and it’s stolen. Fast break the other way.

Eason is still at half court when dude lays it in. Just stood there.

You can sum up the issues in a sentence. LSU does not value possessions. Other teams play every possession as if it’s the last two min of the game. Hence we get beat by teams with less talent.

So, this is the phase of era when somebody insists the LSU BB recruiter hire a real basketball coach to sit on the bench and assist to keep things from getting out of hand. That was when we hired Tex winter for Dale Brown.

It seems wade hasn't been as good since he lost the assistant Greg heair (sp?) Or something like that was his name

Not how it works in basketball. If you can’t draw up plays or run an offense and make adjustments, you deserve to be an assistant coach.

This loss wasn’t on Wade being out coached. Sometimes players are out played.

Yeah, I don’t understand how you don’t take him out after that technical, then he proceeds to turn it over twice after that. Total lack of WW holding him accountable and a total lack of discipline on Gaines’ part.

The same thing that has been going on all year. Some of you just will not see the truth.

Have an upvote sir. Wade is like Orgeron in that he’s being paid to learn how to coach. Let’s give him a raise and extension.

That final play today was embarrassing. Shouldn’t have even taken the time out, the guys on the court could have come up with that one without him.

Pretty embarrassing that there wasn’t more effort put into setting screens for someone to get a clean catch and shoot opportunity with 1.5 seconds left also.

Absolutely. And good thing his recruiting methods are by the book. Never bringing negative attention to the program.

Those players cannot play with a lead. If they are behind, they bust their asses. If ahead, they start that lazy, sloppy passing b.s., stand around doing nothing, and put out lackadaisical attitude. It drives me crazy. Then the other team steals the ball and starts making a run on them.

Today they should have not been in the position to try to win it with no time left. Led the whole game and got cocky.

There wasn’t screens set for Days to be open, that occurred because of a double on Pinson’s penetration and a kick out to Days. So what’s your point?

Correct. Even if it’s Pinson coming off a screen towards the ball, taking 2 dribbles and shooting from just across half court.

What Wade drew up in that timeout was Dash Right 93 Berlin. It was a Hail Mary that was not necessary.

Is this like LSU saying we would hire a clock manager to stand by Leslie on the sidelines to tell him when to call a timeout?
